Designer and woodworker Kate Casey started Peg in Brooklyn in 2014, and creates unique furniture that references the clean lines and intricacy found in Shaker and Scandinavian traditions, and the historical patterns of Peruvian and American Indian weaving. Her background in sculpture and fabrication allows her to man a one woman operation and produce every piece by hand.
